Positive Behaviours for Learning

Introduction

School Wide Positive Behaviour for Learning (SWPBL) is a proactive, comprehensive, systemic and individualised continuum of support designed to provide opportunities for all students for achieving social and learning success. By explicitly teaching and positively reinforcing desired behaviours across all settings and systems, problem behaviour is reduced and academic learning is enhanced.

“Good discipline doesn’t just happen: it is systematic and requires planning and forethought. There are no bad students, only bad systems.”

Brenda Cox
